Spelt bread has a lovely sweet tangy nutty flavour when made with a wild culture, It has a crispy golden brown crust and a moist sweet crumb its a little denser than conventional sourdough breads and also doesn't have that bursting rise due to the lower strength levels of gluten and protein than modern day wheat flour.
All Vanora’s bread is best fresh on the day its OK the day after then amazing for toast 4 or 5 days after that. Freezes very well.
Organic light & dark Spelt flour, water and a little salt and a natural levain.
